Los Angeles, CA
After scoping this place out on yelp about a dozen times, I decided to bring my family here for dinner. It was one of those rare occasions where the entire family is together from all over the country and I needed a place with good food that wasn't far from the hotel in downtown.
Colori kitchen certainly delivered. My family was thrilled that the food was good, the service was friendly and the atmosphere unpretentious. If you're looking for a quiet, authentic Italian meal, this is the place for you.

This place is so delicious.
It's like when your friend's mom makes you something authentic at their family dinner and something about it makes it "different" then if you were to order the same exact thing at a restaraunt. For some reason, this place has that mommy, homemade magic. Pasta was cooked perfectly, try the burrata if you can (great for a mozarella cheese lover), and the desserts were fabulous.
Next time I go I'll definitely have to bring a bottle of wine to go with all of the dishes I'm going to order!!
What a refreshing find in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. This is a gem. Simple, straightforward and unpretentious Italian food with friendly service. Bring your own bottle of wine and enjoy basic Italian food done well. I enjoyed the pesto, but the lamb and vegetarian pasta dishes looked even better. Charming place with an authentic feel.

This is a real Italian deal, no Americanized Italian bullshit dishes!!
I love it, it's simple, well priced, food is awesome and the cook is from Verona, so make no mistake, if you want to try real Italian, go for it!
I am Italian so I know what I'm talking about!!
The cheescake is very light , like a souffle, personally I tried the pasta alla carbonara, pollo al marsala and the bruschetta (don't eat this last one if you bring your date because your breath is going to stink like a rotten corp for the entire day!) and all of them were AWESOME!
Don't ask for Alfredo pasta or spaghetti meatballs otherwise you might risk to get kick out!! HAHA!!
Oddly my pulse pick up a little as I finally have a chance to review this little diamond in the ruff. I have probably eaten here more than 5 times and I still jump out of my chair whenever anyone wants to go.
This place reminds me of seedy neighborhoods in Italy or Argentina. A place where the locals go to eat good homecooked meals. A place to get away from the bouge of the city and escape to where real people work, cook and eat.
Don't expect anything else but one the best italian meals the city has to offer. Don't judge their dining room, or service. All that disappears with your first bite of that crunchy crouton soaked in cioppino broth.
